Clean, wash and soak the rice in double the quantity of water for half an hour in a vessel.
Soak nutri nuggets in water for 15 minutes and drain off the water.
Slice onions thinly, cut carrots into sticks, string beans and cut into pieces. Saute them, golden brown.
Add bay leaf and soy nuggets, and sauté for few minutes more.
Soak saffron in a little water.
Add butter in Cooker; add bay leaf and the sautéed vegetables and bay leaf along with soy nuggets.
Let Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Drain the rice and add to the vegetables and .heat or 2-3 minutes. Add saffron.
Add the water in which rice has been soaked- (doable the rice) and salt in the Cooker.
Cook covered till the rice is done and the Water dries up:
Serve hot with curd or raita.
