X-Mas Goan Sweets

Ingredients
  • What You Will Need -
    • Chana Dal - 1 1/2 cups soaked
    • Sugar - 3 cups
    • Grated Coconut - 3 Cups
    • Ghee - 2 tbsp
    • Cardamom- 1 tsp
    • Salt- According to Taste

Method-

1. Boil Chana Dal in pressure cooker with less water.

2. Cool it and grind it into a smooth but thick paste.

3. After that, add one cup water to coconut and make it a smooth paste.

4. Now, in a thick based pan, add the Chana Dal paste, coconut paste and 3 cups sugar with a pinch of salt too.

5. Mix and stir continuously until it forms a thick paste.

6. Add cardamom powder.

7. Simultaneously, take a butter paper and grease it with oil or butter.

8. Pour the mixture evenly on it and let it cool.
